Interior Philosophy is a full-service design studio and shop open by appointment at the Cates Center in Buckhead. Our new studio location showcases a sampling of the upholstery, furniture, fabric and rug lines we carry. We stock our floor with a curated collection of unique accessories, artwork by local artists, one-of-a-kind furniture, and rugs.
Interior Philosophy owners Jessica Roan and Mandy Mayers are veterans of the fashion and home furnishings industries. Both worked as buyers for Saks Fifth Avenue in New York before relocating to Atlanta to work in merchandising for Ballard Designs. They opened Interior Philosophy in September 2007. They work with customers daily collaborating on projects for clients who have enlisted their design services.
Design services are offered for new construction projects, remodels, and updating existing spaces.
Our design services include an appointment where we take measurements, discuss how you would like to use the space and what your ideas are about color direction and style preferences.
We then develop a furniture floor plan that is done to scale, showing exactly what pieces work best for your space and showing how the furniture will lay out in the room.
The next step is furniture and fabric selection and coordination of accessories that work in the space. Then we meet back to present the floor plan and show you all the items selected for your new space. This could be a few rooms you are updating or a complete home.
After selections are made, we handle the vendor coordination and logistics for deliveries and installations.
